Georges Kern, the CEO of IWC Schaffhausen, alongside brand director, Karoline Huber, hosted the first ever “Ladies Only” fashion dinner to celebrate the launch of the Portofino Midsize collection in Dubai.
An exclusive circle of female invitees, including brand ambassadors, Adriana Lima and Raya Abirached, gathered at the Salsali Private Museum in Alserkal Avenue for a viewing of the “Timeless Portofino” exhibition. The exhibition was exclusively produced and directed by renowned photographer, Peter Lindbergh.
The event celebrated the Portofino Midsize collection’s arrival in the Middle East. Abirached, host of “Scoop with Raya” and “Arabs Got Talent,” guided the guests, which included celebrities and socialites, such as Ascia Al Faraj (otherwise known as superstar turbanista, Ascia Akf), Diala Makki, and Nadine Kanso, through the evening’s highlights.
Lima, who sparkled in a curve-hugging golden gown while showing off her IWC timepiece, was one of the many stars whom have been photographed by Lindbergh. Cate Blanchett, Emily Blunt, and Karolína Kurková have also posed for the photographer alongside the Italian coast, elegantly dressed, and donning IWC timepieces.
Following the exhibition, guests were treated to a fashion show by emerging Lebanese designer, Hussein Bazaza, who featured his Spring 2015 Resort collection.
