Dubai hotspot La Cantine du Faubourg hosted its second annual “L’Authentique Diner en Blanc,” (White Party). The secret location was revealed to be a rooftop terrace adjacent to the Cantine, where 800 guests came together to enjoy a pop-up picnic and dressed in chic, white attire. For its inaugural year, guests dined on the beach of the Sofitel the Palm, and albeit away from the water, the new location offered breathtaking vistas of the Dubai skyline. Pianist Mattias Mimoun provided entertainment while La Cantine du Faubourg’s resident DJ later played the decks. “The ambiance of the evening was liberating (…) and guests kept the theme all about having a great time,” exclaimed Rizwan Kassim, Co-Partner of La Cantine du Faubourg, Dubai. The original idea of a White Party first launched in Paris 27 years ago.
