Leave it to Michael Jackson…
At 10 p.m. EST tonight, Michael Jackson will do what no man has done before. She was photographed by none other than Michael Avedon, grandson of Richard. [The Telegraph]

Dancers, runners, and yogis storm the runway…
Activewear brand Athleta has just announced its debut on the NYFW roster. Don’t expect a classic runway show, however. Dancers, runners, and yogis will all be rocking the latest pieces from Athleta as part of a two-story installation, choreographed by Luam Keflezgy (who has worked with the likes of Beyoncé and Britney Spears) and styled by Zanna Roberts Rassi. There will be a media show and another one open to the public on September 3 at 6 p.m. Here’s an early preview.

Crazy health trend of the day…
A new study shows that 100 bites of food in the day reportedly “adds up to 1,700 calories and 1,100 for women,” and people who counted their bites lost more weight than those who did not. To track your bite count, the researchers at Clemson University created the Bite Monitor, which is set to be released in about a year. Until then, we’ve lost count at 15…or was that 56? [Refinery29]
