It’s #light and meant to inspire us to be #creative and #timeless.
In a short film with a flurry of hashtags and At symbols targeting social media, models @NadjaBender, @BinxWalton, @JoanSmalls, @KendallJenner, and @Jess_Stam (Jessica Stam) showcase a rainbow of Fendi fur coats in eggshell blue, charcoal gray, white, and salmon. Caressing the fur coat while she models it playfully against a white background, Kendall Jenner muses, “This coat is so light, it reminds me of a cloud. I just want to grab it and cuddle it.”
It should be noted that this Color Pequin coat is indeed an offshoot of a classic Fendi motif. The Péquin line was first introduced by the house in 1983 as a striped tissue in yellow and ocre and went on to become emblematic of the House of Fendi. While these furs do recall the iconic Péquin stripe, they are mono-color and feature tone on tone grosgrain ribbons, are without a liner to allow for ultimate lightness, and are treated with a napa finishing. See the video above to get a better look at the covetable mono-striped fur coats from the haute furrier.
