Congratulations are in order as Kensington Palace has confirmed that HRH Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, mother to Prince George is pregnant with her second child, due next year. Kate and Prince William (both 32) have often spoken of their desire to expand their family. It turns out that round two isn’t any easier for Kate as it is revealed that she is once again suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum—a severe case of morning sickness. Sources explain that Middleton is not far along with her pregnancy however Kensington Palace decided to break the news as the Duchess will not be able to accompany her husband on official engagements.
The palace announced, “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child. Her Royal Highness will no longer accompany The Duke of Cambridge on their planned engagement in Oxford today. The Duchess is being treated by doctors at Kensington Palace.”
Meanwhile, Clarence House tweeted, “The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news that Their Royal Highnesses are expecting their second child.”
