Thought #squadgoals reached a peak? Think again. Yesterday, Alexander Wang launched a new Instagram profile called @wangsquad that features Polaroid headshots and a teaser video of his cast ahead of the release of his Spring 2016 ad campaign, which notably includes Kaia Gerber—Cindy Crawford’s 14-year-old daughter. The young Crawford joins Wang’s all-star line-up of models including Anna Ewers and Binx Walton as well as musicians Travis Scott and Alice Glass.
A carbon copy of her supermodel mother, last year Gerber started gaining momentum in the modeling scene by landing magazine editorials in Vogue and Interview. Now, catapulting her modeling career trajectory, her collaboration with Alexander Wang may be her biggest project to date, which could lead to a catwalk debut during New York Fashion Week Fall 2016 ready-to-wear.
