After doing his fashion comeback by teaming up with Oscar de la Renta for the costume design of Stephen Fry’s The Importance of Being Earnest theater play, John Galliano, the ex-designer of Dior, has been tapped by the Russian beauty and fragrance chain L’Étoile to consult the brand on its artistic direction and upcoming projects.
According to L’Étoile, Galliano’s new consulting contract will be effective as of May 22nd. The brand’s spokesperson recently stated that the designer has already been a freelance consultant for L’Étoile for the past months, and added that details on the new collaboration will be revealed in the upcoming week. As of today, the Russian perfumery and cosmetic brand has 750 stores worldwide.
