Ingie Chalhoub, the CEO and managing director of Etoile Group and creative director of her own label, Ingie Paris, received the prestigious Murex D’or Award during a gala dinner held at the Casino du Liban in Lebanon. The event marked the 15th edition of the award, which recognizes the achievements of influential individuals in the Lebanese art community. Chalhoub was honored for her accomplishments as a Lebanese pioneer in the fashion business, both regionally and internationally. A style ambassador as well as a businesswoman, Chalhoub opened the first Chanel boutique in the region and has subsequently launched over 80 luxury houses across the Middle East.
Dressed in a silver metallic brocade gown from her own demi-couture line, Chalhoub received the award among peers and other industry professionals who applauded her important role in shaping the Middle East’s fashion and art community.
