Right on time for the New Year’s celebrations, Guy Laroche and Qatari luxury retail chain Fifty One East launched the French Maison’s new high-end ceramic jewelry line.
The collection consists of a range of ceramic rings, bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and pendants, embellished with 9k gold adornments, stainless steel, and diamonds; the designs play with graphic structures, reminiscent of 1920s Art Deco.
Besides the classic designs, the French Maison also included some more innovative pieces, such as ceramic jewelry adorned with leather, carbon, and rubber finishing, which bear the designer’s monogram.
The high-end ceramic jewelry line will be available at Fifty One East’s boutiques at the Lagoona Mall, and at the Al-Maha Center, on Salwa Road in Doha.
At the end of February, Guy Laroche’s Artistic Director, Marcel Marongiu, will showcase his Fall 2014 ready-to-wear collection in Paris. The brand, which was formerly founded in 1957 as a Maison de Couture, now focuses on ready-to-wear, accessories, jewelry, and fragrances.
