As the CEO of Bee’ah, an environmental management company located in Sharjah, Khaled Al Huraimel is committed to generating renewable energy and eventually diverting all waste in the UAE away from landfills. Al Huraimel is working with designer Zaha Hadid to create Bee’ah’s new headquarters, which will be the first building in the UAE to be powered by green renewable energy. Here, he discusses Bee’ah’s work in the region and Sharjah’s transformation as it becomes one of the greenest and cleanest cities in the Middle East.
