Suffice to say, mod is having a moment. If Spring ’15 was the stronghold of the ’70s freewheeling bohemia, the Fall collections were marked by a dose of the ’60s pared-back yet quirky aesthetics. You could spot it in the silhouettes (A-line minis and turtlenecks galore), the fabrications (patent, please!), and, of course, the prints. Dior’s Raf Simons dreamed up splashy, acid-hued designs that brought a touch of psychedelia to the quintessential Parisian house, while Jonathan Saunders drenched his darling silhouettes in undulating, multicolored waves.
