First Look: Rula Galayini’s Fall 2016 Rhythmic Hues Campaign

Ahead of her Paris Fashion Week launch, Lebanese accessories designer Roula Ghalayini unveils her Fall 2016 campaign behind her Rula Galayini handbag brand exclusively here on Style.com/Arabia. The Dubai-based designer’s collection “Rhythmic Hues” explores depth and color by using the positive and negative space of her signature silhouettes.

Punchy colors are at the heart of the lineup that is shot against saturated walls with arms extending from holes firmly gripping the bags. The Chrysalis line—notable for its abstract laser-cut patterns on soft leather totes and box clutches—now features interchangeable leather inserts in a gradation of kaleidoscope colors inviting the wearer to express her personal style through a variety of color options. The vibrant campaign also features a well-manicured hand grasping the multifunctional cuff clutch that works as both a piece of jewelry and an evening bag. Meanwhile, a structured tote punctuated with vibrant hues and embellished with gold triangular forms draws inspiration from the works of modernist artist Donald Judd. Rula Galayini will showcase its Rhythmic Hues collection during Paris Fashion Week Fall 2016 and Fashion Forward Season 7.
