The self-taught, Kuwaiti designer, Amna Al Salem, launched her first collection in 2012 under her eponymous label; and now, we’re bringing you a first look of her Fall 2015 campaign. Here, the designer, whose signature is found in voluminous and sculptural shapes, drew inspiration from Henri Matisse’s masterpiece, The Dessert: Harmony in Red. The ladylike lineup includes a blue suspender skirt embellished with gold metal leaves; a red midi dress with cross detail across the bodice; boxy jackets and hemlines with floral organza embellishments; and pencil skirts with dramatic pleats and oversized brass buttons; in a color palette of crimson red, baby blue, black, and ivory.
