As Fashion Forward preps its custom-made platform in the center of its brand new location at Hai d3, the following designers are applying the finishing touches to their Fall 2016 collections ahead of the biannual fashion showcase in the heart of the Dubai Design District.

Style.com/Arabia – DDFC Fashion Prize 2015 winner Hussein Bazaza will showcase its Fall 2016 collection that will highlight the Lebanese label’s textural contrasts. Starch Foundation, which has notably showcased its designers at each edition of Fashion Forward, will return with alumni Bashar Assaf and feature for the first time unisex label/Pər’vərs/ (Perverse Concept). Meanwhile, Fashion Prize finalists Taller Marmo—also a Woolmark Prize 2015 finalist—and Zayan the Label by Zayan Ghandour will both present collections at the upcoming Fashion Forward Season 7.

The internationally renowned couturier Amato by Furne One launched its ready-to-wear label at Fashion Forward Season 6 in October 2015 and this coming season will showcase its second RTW collection; Army of 1 is a contemporary brand that will feature high-end knits and understated luxury separates. Bedouin, by Central Saint Martins graduate Andraya Farrag, is a contemporary womenswear label set to highlight its minimalist aesthetic. Bouguessa, first introduced to the region on Style.com/Arabia, will feature contemporary modest fashion. Daneh, by Saudi designer Daneh Buahmad, will showcase chic urban sportswear separates. Dee by Dalia is a label created by Dalia Ali who sources inspiration from vintage labels and ballet. Jelena Bin Drai will showcase eveningwear. Kristina Fidelskaya is a Dubai-based brand that highlights a timeless wardrobe. Lama Jouni will showcase ready-to-wear; and Kage returns to Fashion Forward with its edgy contemporary lineup.

Mira Hayek, first launched by the Starch Foundation, will also showcase; as will Saudi label Nasiba Hafiz, known for its color-infused designs. Orkalia will return with elevated ready-to-wear; Pearla by Emirati designers Hessa and Fatma Ali Aljoker will feature conceptual ready-to-wear; Salta will debut at FFWD with its line of ready-to-wear; Soltana Couture by Tunisian designer Fatma Ben Soltane will also debut; as will Jeddah-based label Sotra by Saudi designer Nouf Hakeem in collaboration with partner Mariam bint Mahfooz. Salim Azzam by Lebanese illustrator and designer Azzam will feature works crafted by local artisans. While Egyptian label Three Fifty Nine will return to Fashion Forward with its showcase of colorful wearable art pieces.

Fashion Forward Season 7 will take place at Hai d3 from March 31st to April 3rd.
