A whopping 25 designers will showcase their couture and ready-to-wear collections at the upcoming Season Five of Fashion Forward (FFWD), running from April 10-13 in Dubai.
Along with the expanded list of designers presenting, the format of the event has also evolved from past seasons: following networking events on April 10th, the catwalk shows and presentations will be showcased from April 11-12, while April 13th will be reserved for industry professionals to partake in panel discussions on site at the Dubai Design District (d3).
Speaking with Style.com/Arabia, Founder Bong Guerrero explained, “For this edition of FFWD, we wanted to explore even more ways in which the designers in our region could showcase their collections. The introduction of presentations gives an alternative perspective and medium for the designers, allowing them flexibility and choice when it comes to how they want their collections to be seen.”
This season, the retail space “The Garden” will house apparel along with accessories, and the Season Five catwalk collections will also have the opportunity to sell pieces from their collections directly to consumers.

Lebanese couturier Sabaji is known for his conceptual creations influenced by nature.
Zareena
The UAE-based Zareena has been working as a designer for some twenty years and uses sumptuous fabric combinations and rich embroidery for her gowns.
