Introducing FFWD’s Lineup of Season Four Designers

Fashion Forward (FFWD) is set to return to Madinat Jumeirah from October 4th to 6th to showcase what organizers hope will be their strongest line-up to date.

“Season Four is the coming together of our finest designers from across the first three seasons and we are delighted that so many are returning to showcase their collections this October,” said Bong Guerrero, Founder and CEO of Fashion Forward in an official statement. “The FFWD journey so far has highlighted what incredible talent and creativity we have in this region and you will certainly see the best of this at Season Four.”

The couture designers showing this season are Dubai-based Furne One of Amato; Lebanese designer, Dany Tabet; Lebanese designer, Jean Louis Sabaji; Dubai-based Michael Cinco; and UAE national, Zareena Yousef of Zareena.

Showing their ready-to-wear collections this year are Lamia Asudari of Asudari Studio; Lebanese designer, Bashar Assaf; Emirati designer, Farha Al Shamsi of Ceremony; Lebanese designer, Dima Ayad; Omani sisters, Nadia and Lubna of Endemage; UAE-based designer, Essa; London-based designer, Hasan Hejazi; Iranian designer, Ava Hashemi of House of Hâshé; Ronald Abdala of House of Ronald; Emirati designer, Madiyah Al Sharqi; Iranian designer, Maral Yazaloo of Maral; Kuwaiti designer, Tahir Sultan; Dubai-based designers, Riccardo Audisio and Yago Goicoechea of Taller Marmo; the British-Iranian Golkar brothers of Emperor 1688, regional menswear finalists of the International Woolmark Prize; and Zac, Zubair, and Talha Timol of Velsvoir.

Presenting under Starch Foundation this season are designers Timi Hayek and Joe Baaklini, as well as Beirut-based Rayya Morcos, winner for the 2014 Woolmark Prize for Womenswear in the Middle East and India.

In addition to the catwalk shows, also returning this season is The Garden, a retail space where buyers and guests can browse through 50 selected accessories designers from the region.
