The first season of Fashion Forward (FFWD) introduced accessories to the biannual event by means of pop-up shops. Handbag designers Natalie Trad and Cee Code first showed their collections at FFWD and are now gaining international recognition. Now, in their quest to offer a wider platform for Middle Eastern designers to blossom, the event organizers have announced the launch of “The Garden”, a retail and trade gallery that will sell accessories and lifestyle items solely by designers originating from or living in the Middle East.
Serving to complement the catwalk shows during FFWD’s second season this coming October, the exhibition space will run from October 15th – 17th with individual booths for designers. Goods will be sold in the AED 300 – AED 6,000 range and will include fashion accessories, jewelry, and handbags.
