Fashion Forward Announces Pop Ups

jpgThe brainchild of regional event company Brag’s Bong Guerrero, “Fashion Forward” will make its grand debut next month in Dubai from April 26th-29th at the Madinat Jumeirah. Catwalk shows, forums, panel discussions, and even talks from Lebanese designer Rabih Kayrouz and Toby Meadows of the London School of Fashion will animate the three day affair. On top of the designer roster that includes Rami Al Ali, Golkar Couture, Dina JSR, and Michael Cinco, that will showcase latest collections, a slew of pop ups featuring designers including Aila, Bil Arabi, Bint Thani, Dalia Hamdallah, Das, Marmar, Mina Me, MOK, Poupee Couture, Satish, Sugar Vintage, and Tresors Sauvages will make it possible for guests to purchase original accessories.

Creative Director of Bil Arabi, Nadine Kanso shares with us:

“I’m very proud to be a part of Fashion Forward, as I think it’s a great platform for designers in the Middle East. It is something that is definitely needed in this region, and something that needs to be taken seriously. It is a great opportunity for all the participating designers to show their collections, and bring in interest and hopefully buyers from the West.”

Kanso continues, “The pieces I’ll be bringing along will be a mix of my most popular lines and my new collection. I hope my jewelry can help promote Middle Eastern design to a wider audience. I use Arabic calligraphy because it is such a beautiful form in itself and translates perfectly into fantastic pieces of jewelry.”
