Scheduled to take place today during New York Fashion Week, the duo behind Noon by Noor, Shaikha Noor and Shaikha Haya Al Khalifa, reveal a sketch ahead of the catwalk showcase exclusively on Style.com/Arabia. “We captured a relaxed and timeless aesthetic through masculine tailoring; long, fluid silhouettes; and rich textiles,” said the Bahraini designers. Describing the execution, the duo explained, “We experimented with texture by reversing and chopping fabrics and incorporating patchwork. Voluminous ‘New Look’ shapes add a feminine sensibility while mannish hardware is interpreted in the embellishments.” They also highlighted, “There’s a playful element to the collection with the use of silver spot denim and youthful eveningwear.”
