Exclusive First Look: Madiyah Al Sharqi Fall 2014

Though Madiyah Al Sharqi didn’t show her latest collection from her eponymous line at this weekend’s Fashion Forward Season 3, don’t think for a moment that the designer is off anyone’s radar. In the above campaign pictures released exclusively to Style.com/Arabia and shot by Ayaad Damouni (Capital D Studios), separates, coats, and dresses in blush pinks, whites, and nudes are cut into slender silhouettes elongating the body. Featuring sheer inserts reminiscent of Al Sharqi’s Spring 2014 collection, the cuts come across as clean, fresh, and feminine while the check patterns offer a ‘50s twist. Delicate lace and embroideries details line hems, embellish sheer sleeves, and emblazon bodices while skirt ruffles and one fuchsia mink lining add luxurious accents to this melodious fall line. As for the cars? Unfortunately, they’re not for sale; these vintage 1930s and ‘60s vehicles belong to Al Sharqi’s sister’s private collection.
