London’s Qatari-owned Harrods luxury department store will soon launch Pradasphere, an exhibition running throughout May, that will pay tribute to Miuccia Prada’s world and the brand’s 100-year legacy; on display will be selected exhibition pieces from fashion and accessories to architecture, cinema, and beyond.
“We are delighted to work with Italy’s finest fashion house to bring the Prada universe to life,” said Helen David, Fashion Director of Womenswear, Accessories, Fine Jewelry, and Childrenswear at Harrods, in an official statement.
Located on the fourth floor, the exhibition will trace Prada’s multifaceted history through archived pieces, new collections, and special project collaborations that are yet to be revealed. On the ground floor, Prada will display rare fashion samples from its archives, coupled with a capsule collection of ready-to-wear, bags, shoes, and accessories designed exclusively for Harrods. In between the shopping and exhibition tour, Prada aficionadas can take a break at the Pradasphere café, which will be launched on the occasion of the exhibit’s opening.
You can follow the exhibition preparations and the display throughout the month of May via the #Pradasphere hashtag.
