Emanuel Ungaro

For the Emanuel Ungaro Spring 2016 ready-to-wear offering, creative director Fausto Puglisi highlighted a woman’s playful side with lattice prints on blouses, jackets, and pleated tea-length skirts; an embroidered, floral pattern on capes; and floral lace and 3D appliqués across mod dresses, shorts, and thigh-high boots. Thick straps on bustier tops, metal rings, and licorice-like black vinyl added an edge to the collection.

Spring 2016 Inspiration: Revisiting the works of Emanuel Ungaro from the ‘60s.

Star Pieces: A coordinating look featuring white floral embroidery and 3D appliqués on a midi skirt and a sleeveless shirt, styled with matching heels; and the white trousers with the mesh black ruffle detail running down the sides.

The Middle Eastern Sale: The fresh, punchy palette and the use of floral lace make the designs a fitting choice for a luncheon, high tea, or afternoon at the races.
