Over the course of his career spanning 30+ years, Stephan Choiniere has performed for the likes of Sting, Halle Berry, Michael Douglas, and Janet Jackson. “When I got the call that I was to fly out to Dubai and perform for Ellen DeGeneres at The Act, I was of course very excited. Everyone loves Ellen.” The Las Vegas-based freelance entertainer was on a job in Germany when Wow Entertainers contacted him to fly to Dubai to perform “Transcend the Box”, which involves a combination of interactions with animated projections that highlight an imaginary world.
Following the various high-end performances, the ever-enthusiastic DeGeneres, who was seated front and center along with Portia de Rossi and a few other friends, went up on stage. “She requested to come up and take a photo with us and we had the wonderful privilege to take some shots with her. She was delighted and said she just loved it,” said Choiniere. DeGeneres was also seen taking selfies with the likes of The Qode’s Ayman Fakoussa and other guests at the intimate soirée.
