Dubai-based online retailer, Mumzworld, a site dedicated to mothers, babies, and children, is in search of female investors for its latest financing round.
According to Mona Ataya, Founder and CEO of Mumzworld.com, the investment round will end on September 20th and is an opportunity for established or aspiring investors to support a growing e-commerce brand, while strengthening the presence of women in Middle Eastern businesses.
“Mumzworld is a company built by mothers, for mothers”, said the CEO to Arabianbusiness.com. Ataya further added: “With this women-only financing round, Mumzworld.com is empowering women to invest in a business they believe in.”
Launched in November 2011, Mumzworld.com stocks apparel, nursing equipment, educational toys, books, furniture, and strollers for babies and children up to the age of 12.
