CAPSULE ART’S 18 ARTISTS.

Dubai-based art platform, Capsule Arts, has united eighteen artists for a group exhibition based on limited edition art prints, which also marks the opening of the platform’s new studio on September 5th.

Founded in late 2012 by a duo of art consultants, Deepa Bhatia and Rachael Brown, Capsule Arts promotes an innovative concept of art pop-up shops across the UAE, regular studio exhibitions in Dubai, and bespoke design services for branding and individual orders. The soon-to-open 584 square meter gallery is located in the heart of the Al Quoz district and will be entirely dedicated to artists based in the Middle East.

The limited art print editions will be priced affordably, with prices ranging from AED300 to AED2,250. “Our range of prints allows those new to the art world an easy step into building their personal art collections without risking a significant financial undertaking,” explained Co-Founder, Rachael Brown.

The art prints are provided by a multitude of up-and-coming artists from the region, including Vice President of Emirates Fine Art Society, Nasir Nasrallah; Bahraini post-modern painter, Perryhan El-Ashmawi; as well as younger Dubai-based younger talents, such as visual artist and illustrator, Noush Like Sploosh.

Capsule Arts is expected to tour the UAE in the coming months, starting with a pop-up shop in conjunction with the exhibition series No White Walls at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr Hotel in Abu Dhabi on September 19th. The pop-up will then run on the second Friday of each month, until December.

For those eager to invest in promising Middle Eastern talents, the limited edition art prints are available on the platform’s online store.

Check back tomorrow for Caterina Minthe’s Virtual Exhibit of the Capsule Arts collection with commentary from the Co-Founders and various artists.
