What’s more fierce and feminine than a glamorous dark lip, fresh skin, and powerful eyes? That was the question on Dior Makeup creative and image director Peter Philips’ mind when he crafted the models’ flawless complexions and plum pouts at the Dior Fall 2016 ready-to-wear show. The look emitted the same elegant yet empowered allure that Philips aimed to convey through the prestigious fashion house’s new seasonal makeup collection.
In an ode to Paris—the Eiffel Tower to be precise—Philips dreamed up a set of sculpting sticks, eyeshadow quads, color correctors, lip glosses, and luminizers to create the tantalizing Dior Skyline Fall 2016 collection, which hit shelves earlier this month. The beauty offering intends to leave women perpetually photo-ready for what Philips describes as today’s “selfie society.”
