Designer and CFDA President, Diane von Furstenberg, is going back to the business of bling with the launch of a new costume jewelry line.
30 years after first collaborating, von Furstenberg has reunited with Haskell Jewels and its CEO, Frank Fialkoff, who back in the ‘80s oversaw the brand’s jewelry license.
The lower-priced pieces, which range from US $68-628 (AED/SAR 250-2,300), are far more accessible than their high-end counterparts for Diane von Furstenberg by H.Stern, with prices that can go up to US $100,000. To be launched next February (quite timely for Valentine’s Day), the collection will offer a wide range of necklaces, rings, and earrings imbued with the DVF DNA, along with leather-embossed cuffs in different vibrant colors.
We particularly like the bangs in the brand’s signature hot pink and monochrome tones, reflecting the designer’s well-structured aesthetic. “I really love jewelry that makes noise and makes a statement,” said von Furstenberg. We couldn’t agree more.
