Exaggerated sleeves have taken over. Whether bell-shaped or ruffled, the spring sleeves have become the focus of a statement-making outfit. Designer labels such as Rosie Assoulin, Ellery, and Vetements have highlighted this trend amid their Spring 2016 offerings by revamping classic styles to include inflated sleeves—but they aren’t the only ones.
Kuwait-based label Heba Bodahoum has made its way onto our radar courtesy of one of Kuwait’s style influencers, Dalal AlDoub of Dalalid. Making a strong case for the trend—and the label—Al Doub took to Instagram wearing a contrasting black and white, billowing shell top complete with bell-sleeves. She balanced the proportions of her modest outfit by pairing the statement top with slim-cut, tailored trousers, and completed her look with lace-up, sling-back mules signed Givenchy.
