Screen Shot 2013-03-04 at 6.43.30 PMIf you have yet to visit, don’t miss the Creative Japan Fashion Fair currently ongoing at Harvey Nichols Riyadh. The Japanese fashion focus is in Saudi Arabia as a first stop in the Middle East after judiciously studying the Kingdom’s trendy population that has a love of high quality fashion and luxury brands. The fair will help to enhance cultural exchanges between the two countries and promote emerging Japanese designers such as Yu Amastu, who previously worked in New York with brands Jen Kao and Marc Jacobs. Amastu is the winner of the Gen Design Competition, one of the most prestigious awards given to a small roster of elite designers including Zac Posen. Amastu launched his brand A Degree Fahrenheit, which is sold at Harvey Nichols Riyadh, three years ago. Twenty designers are featured at the Fair, including Ugahum, and Issey Miyake.

Until March 11th
