Band T-shirts are something of a loyalty badge honoring our all-time favorite performers, and many of us are the proud owners of one or two tanks dedicated to The Beatles, Kiss, or Guns N’ Roses. Once only available at official tour shops, music merchandise is now available for purchase well outside stadium walls.

This summer, concert tour merchandise (or merch) is not only selling out fast, it is going above and beyond the basic T-shirt. The latest offerings include bomber jackets, graphic hoodies, and temporary tattoos—we’re looking at you, Selena Gomez. One of the first musicians to spearhead the revival is Kanye West. The outspoken rapper (who held temporary The Life of Pablo pop-up shops in New York, Los Angeles, and Paris) drew long lines of die hard Yeezy fans desperate to get their hands on the now sold out collection.

British singer Zayn Malik is one of the latest A-listers to jump on the bandwagon (pun intended). The former One Direction member unveiled an offering in line with his first solo album Mind of Mine, with a covetable military jacket inscribed with his name in Arabic being the standout item. The sought-after piece was recently spotted on his model girlfriend and biggest fan, Gigi Hadid. Now, retailers are getting on board the merch train. Last week, luxury department store Barneys New York launched a collection of exclusive Justin Bieber Purpose tour gear. Designed by Jerry Lorenzo of L.A. brand Fear of God, the 31-piece, unisex line up includes leather jackets, hats, and flannel separates.
