Right in time for the festive season, Monaco has one more reason to celebrate.
Raphael, the first baby boy for Charlotte Casiraghi and second son for her Moroccan actor and stand-up comedian partner, Gad Elmaleh, was born on Wednesday. As reported by the father via Twitter, both mother and child are doing well.
The new mother, Charlotte Casiraghi, is the daughter of Princess Caroline of Monaco and her late husband, the Italian business man, Stephano Casiraghi, and is fifth in line to the Monegasque throne.
Reputed for her fashionable taste, the socialite is currently a face of Gucci as one of their equestrian models. That said, Casiraghi has often emphasized that her privacy is important even if she is a public person, and thus, no pictures of her newborn have been released. ‘’Well, I don’t want to post those kinds of photos because they’re private and I want my personal life to stay private not public,’’ she tweeted earlier this month.
There’s lots of joy and excitement. I’m at a certain point in my life where building a family is very important,” Elmaleh told People magazine earlier this year. ‘’Charlotte is healthy and very happy to become a mother. She will be the best in the world because she is generous and very loving. She has all the gifts for being a mother. She’s precious and very loving and kind.”
Gad Elmaleh will come to Dubai on February 13th and 14th for a stand-up comedy event at the Dubai World Trade Center. The first date is already sold out.
