Circle your calendars: on May 13th, Chanel’s Creative Director, Karl Lagerfeld, will make his Dubai debut and host the French Maison’s new Cruise collection for the 2014/15 season.
Since 2000, the brand has traveled the world: Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Venice, Saint Tropez, Cap d’Antibes, Versailles, and Singapore, showcasing its inter-seasonal holiday line to a carefully selected group of press, buyers, and celebrities.
“Chanel is very pleased to present its collection in Dubai,” Bruno Pavlovsky, President of Chanel Fashion, told Style.com/Arabia. “In addition to being a key hub for our Fashion business in the Middle East, Dubai was chosen because it inspires travel and evokes the true spirit of Cruise.”
For the latest Cruise 2014 collection in Singapore, the Maison reconstructed a traditional Singaporean house; the Cruise 2013 collection showcased in Versailles was set in Louis XIV’s opulent gardens. As of today, the location of the Cruise 2014/15 runway in Dubai is yet to be revealed.
Chanel will present its upcoming Fall 2014 ready-to-wear collection in Paris, on March 4th, at Le Grand Palais.
