Pheobe Philo’s previous collections for the Parisian brand reigned supreme due to their pristine minimalist aesthetic—she basically jump-started the trend that’s still exhaustedly copied. For the Céline Spring 2016 ready-to-wear collection, Philo added a feminine touch with lace-trimmed slip dresses, silky camisoles, and noteworthy waist-cinching coats. The offering also included the designer’s hallmark clean lines in loose fit, front-pleat trousers which were presented in abundance alongside puff-sleeved dresses, structured scuba blazers, and boatneck empire tops.
