Magida El Roumi is Bulgari’s Humanitarian Ambassador

High-end jewelry brand, Bulgari, which celebrates its 130th anniversary this year, has revealed its latest humanitarian mission in association with Lebanese soprano singer, Magida El Roumi, and the Save the Children foundation.

Following in the steps of celebrities such as Ben Stiller, Eric Bana, and Zhang Ziyi, Magida El Roumi will embark on a trip to the Za’atari camp in Jordan with the Save the Children foundation on October 19th.

Notably, this is the first time that a Middle Eastern Humanitarian Ambassador is being appointed by the foundation to raise awareness toward its efforts in the region. This upcoming visit from one of Lebanon’s most revered artists to the second biggest refugee site in the world will help to highlight Save the Children’s educational programs including kindergarten activities.

To date, the hugely successful sales of Bulgari’s especially designed silver and ceramic ring and pendant, inspired by the brand’s iconic B.zero1 jewelry line, have netted over US $27 million towards the organization. The results have outstripped the objectives originally set in 2009, the year the charity was launched, and will benefit underprivileged children all around the world.
