Head over to Net-A-Porter and you’ll be in for a special treat. Karl Lagerfeld has teamed up with Japanese brand, Tokidoki, to create a capsule collection of affordable pieces including scarves, leggings, jeans, tees, and diamanté-embellished figurines.
Tokidoki, which translates as “sometimes” in Japanese, is the brainchild of Italian artist Simone Legno and entrepreneurs, Pooneh Mohajer and Ivan Arnold. Since its debut in 2005, it has amassed a cult-like following for its larger-than-life, “criminally cute” characters.
Partnering with with the Kaiser was decidedly a no-brainer and furthering the fun, Net-A-Porter has announced that Karl is on a trip around the world and we can help influence where he should fly to next. Participate by uploading a photo of the next place you think Karl should visit on Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #KarlYourWorld. Doha, Dubai, Jeddah, Cairo, or Muscat, let’s show Lagerfeld how active our region is on social media and bring him to the Middle East.
