Symphony’s annual Ramadan Tasyourah will occur this evening in the Symphony Boutique at the Dubai Mall from 7-10pm. Guests can enjoy an exclusive preview of the Ramadan collections from brands such as DAS, Mochi, Razan Al Azzouni, and Tsumori Chisato, among others. Also to be featured will be a capsule collection from contemporary abaya designer Faiza Bouguessa, whom we introduced in an On Our Radar spotlight in April.
Inspired by the revival of the moon cycle and its symbolic new beginning, the collection is called Hilal, which is Arabic for “new crescent moon.” Silhouettes are simple shapes and feature delicate fabrics like pure silk organza and crepe, linen, or cotton, in airy colors such as grey, metallic, and off-white.
The proceeds from tonight’s event at Symphony Boutique will be donated for aid in Syria. #tasyourahbysymphony
