Catch David Sims’ New Campaign Video for Bottega Veneta

Images of Bottega Veneta’s Fall-Winter 2014/2015 advertising campaign are being released this month along with a short video, and this time the Italian house called on British fashion photographer David Sims to stand behind the lens.

Part of the brand’s ongoing “Art of Collaboration” initiative with renowned artists, the campaign was shot on location in London last March and features both the women’s and men’s collections. The women’s collection, fronted by English model Edie Campbell, offers a sleek and modern silhouette offset by graphic touches of black, burned red, and chartreuse, while the men’s outfits, as seen on model Otto Lotz, are more relaxed.

Sims, whose acclaimed work has appeared in the pages of Vogue, The Face, and i-D magazines and celebrated through worldwide exhibitions, joins a growing list of creative contributors. Previous collaborations include Pieter Hugo, David Armstrong, Peter Lindbergh, Steven Meisel, Nick Knight, Sam Taylor-Wood, Annie Leibovitz, and Lord Snowdon.

“I am a great admirer of David’s photographs,” says Bottega Veneta Creative Director, Tomas Maier. “We thought that his stark, pared-down aesthetic would be a natural fit with the graphic elements of this collection. The result is very impactful and I was extremely pleased with the collaboration.”
