Bloomingdales rolled out its red carpet for Dubai’s fashion set at The Annex, adjacent to the Burj Khalifa on Wednesday night, to present its Spring 2016 collection. The luxury retailer stepped away from the traditional fashion show, and instead opted to showcase its collections throughout a more interactive and dynamic “Like No Other” event. Guests were treated to a delectable dinner as models posed atop light-filled stages and podiums, sporting key Spring 2016 trends: all-white monochromatic ensembles, layers of mixed fabrics, dainty floral prints, and lace and stripes.
Backstage, an army of Gucci Beauty makeup artists set up camp to create the no-makeup-makeup looks sported by the models; while hairstylists from Aveda curated the tousled waves; and tight topknots. The night closed with a live performance from up-and-coming, local artist Nathalie Saba, who will notably be part of the line-up this weekend’s RedfestDXB.
