Ahead of her anticipated Formation world tour that kicks off this week, Beyoncé surprised fans by releasing her sixth studio album (and second visual album) titled Lemonade on Tidal following a short film by the same name that aired on HBO yesterday. During the hour-long feature, the 34-year-old belted out lyrics that covered various reactions to infidelity.
Beyoncé’s Lemonade film is a visually stimulating treat that features the singer dressed in a number of outfits by up-and-coming Arab designers. In a black and white segment, Beyoncé poses nonchalantly on a throne wearing a black bodysuit with embellished bodice that features billowing sleeves signed Yousef Al-Jasmi. Meanwhile, in an eerie scene the singer stands front and center in an amber-lit room wearing a long-sleeved, crystal-embellished, lattice-patterned gown by Lebanese designer Nicolas Jebran.
