Last night, Paris-based menswear label Berluti celebrated the recent launch of its boutique in Abu Dhabi’s Galleria mall with a cocktail reception at the St. Regis Resort on Saadiyat Island. Now owned by LVMH, Berluti recently made the jump from footwear and accessories into full-fledged ready-to-wear.
The chic, seductively lit terrace featured tables with wooden shoe casts, and guests were treated to live demonstrations of Berluti’s creations, as well as a fresh, hand-rolled cigar station for those who were so inclined. Waiters circled the venue offering trays of tasty hors d’oeuvres such as lamb-filled ravioli, while off in the corner, a display screen projected Berluti’s latest ad campaign.
Guests at the gentleman’s club modeled venue included Sheikha Maissa Al Qassimi and Jordan-born Korean comedian, Wonho Chung.
