There’s no slowing down Barbie. At the Zoolander 2 premiere that took place at Alice Tully Hall in New York, the tiny style icon made a red carpet appearance arm-in-arm with fashion’s fiercest fictional model Derek Zoolander. Standing tall (everything’s relative) at 11.5 inches, Barbie wore a red, floor-length Valentino L’Amour gown from the brand’s Fall 2015 collection, while Zoolander looked dapper in a blue floral suit signed Valentino.
Meanwhile, leading up to the premiere, Barbie and Zoolander took to Instagram to show off their glamourous escapades in sunny Los Angeles. Packed with fun activities, the duo was captured shopping, soaking up the sun on the beach, and unwinding at the spa. The perfect doll is also seen getting schooled in the art of mastering her Blue Steele selfie face. Also, tagging along on the plastic pair’s SoCal adventure are doll versions of Valentina (Penelope Cruz) and Hansel (Owen Wilson). See how it all played out in the gallery above.
