See the Banana Republic x Roland Mouret Capsule Collection

650-banana-republic-x-roland-mouret-limited-edition-fall-2014-capsule-collectionRoland Mouret certainly knows how to keep busy.

In addition to his recent Australian venture with The Woolmark Company, the London-based French designer is about to launch an exclusive collaboration with Banana Republic, following on the heels of the retailer’s collaborations with the late L’Wren Scott and Issa.

Mouret, best known for his infamous “Galaxy” dress, launched to great acclaim in 2006, is now translating his figure-hugging silhouette for Banana Republic, using the retail giant’s signature Sloan stretch fabric.

With a campaign fronted by supermodel, Karolina Kurkova, the 25-piece capsule collection will feature Mouret’s trademark details. From sharp blazers, to fitted pencil skirts, and body contouring sheath dresses, the limited-edition collection is unapologetically feminine and includes bold color blocking, graphic details, and animal prints.

Of the collaboration, Mouret said, “Partnering with Banana Republic on this project was such an adventure for me. The common goal for this collection is to offer incredible fit through an assortment of hourglass silhouettes using Banana Republic’s Sloan fabric, extending my love of structure into accessible prices. These pieces are multi-functional for the modern woman to wear and accessorize in her own way, making her always ready for life’s journey.”

The covetable and affordable collection will be available in stores from end of August, with prices starting from AED/SAR 275.
