Florence-based shoe label, Aquazzura, has teamed up with Olivia Palermo for an exclusive capsule collection to be launched this September.
The collaboration with Aquazzura’s footwear designer, Edgardo Osorio, is a natural progression, given that the two started befriending each other after the socialite and fashion blogger, known for her innate sense of style, was spotted wearing the brand’s designs soon after its launch in 2011.
Hinting at the purported must-have nature of the collection, Palermo stated to Vogue.co.uk, “I think it is no secret that I love a good shoe, so I very much enjoyed creating a ‘survival pack’ for every occasion and women of all ages.”
The six-piece Aquazzura X Olivia Palermo collection encompasses must-haves to cover all aspects of a busy social life and combines Osorio’s eye for detail and love of modern design with Palermo’s art of mixing accessories.
Including suede ankle boots and over-the-knee boots, leather sandals, jeweled stilettos, snake flats, metallic leather sandals, and our favorite, gladiator heels, the collection will be available at Net-a-Porter, along with 12 other selected stores around the world, including Level Shoe District in Dubai.
