Amal Clooney was spotted in New York this week. The human rights attorney was in the city for a televised interview that saw her talk about her client and ISIS survivor, Nadia Murad. The 23-year-old was kidnapped by the militant group in 2014, but managed to escape. Clooney shared her desire to bring the militant group to justice, and revealed the risks involved in summoning the group’s commanders to trial over war crimes, genocide, and human trafficking.
Clooney donned gingham print, flared pants with a black, button-detailed sweater by Altuzarra. She completed her look with a knee-grazing coat that featured a pink floral print offset by grey lining from Joseph Altuzarra’s Resort 2017 collection. She opted for neutral accessories: a structured, ivory tote and black Giambattista Valli sling-back pumps.
