WWD reports that Alexander Wang is in talks with General Atlantic, a private equity firm that also has Tory Burch, Airbnb, BuzzFeed, and Alibaba Group in its portfolio. Considering the breadth of brands in which the firm holds stakes, this seems like a big move for Wang’s brand, and perhaps the one that drew him from Balenciaga. [WWD]
