Adidas by Stella McCartney, the original designer workout line, turns 10 this year and is celebrating by launching a new line of activewear-meets-athleisure pieces aimed at a younger audience. Called StellaSport, the new brand consists of bold yet practical pieces—read: neon-trim leggings, branded hoodies, and patterned tees—all of which boast not just the climate-regulating technology to make Spin class a breeze, but also the fashion appeal to make walking into The Juice Press post-class a moment of pride. (Honestly, how long until a juice-bar-specific street-style blog pops up?) The brand also affords the promise of sneakers, backpacks, socks, and hats, furthering its athlete-off-duty allure.
While we hedged our bets that health goth would be the workout trend of the New Year, it seems that bright activewear isn’t going away anytime soon, especially when workoutwear collections from Tory Burch and Beyoncé x Topshop are on the way.
Click through StellaSport’s first lookbook in the slideshow and shop the pieces online and in Adidas, Nordstrom, and Topshop stores on January 15.
