Getting a jump on New York, Stockholm hosted its own Spring/Summer 2014 Mercedes-Benz fashion shows this week. Sweden being the land of the midnight sun, the parties went on well into the wee hours. First up was an exhibition of portraits of Chloë Sevigny photographed by BLK DNM creative director Johan Lindeberg for the launch of Absolut’s new vodka, Elyx. Large-scale black-and-white images dominated a dark room inside the city’s Music and Theater Museum, filled to the brim with partygoers Catherine Baba, Lynn Yaeger, and Ann-Sofie Back. “I wanted to support and portray women with a strong integrity,” Lindeberg told Style.com, “and Chloë was my natural first choice.”

Later that evening, in town for his Back to Sweden art show at Gallery Steinsland Berliner, André Saraiva hosted Alicia Vikander, Waris Ahluwalia, and Sarah Lerfel at a pop-up Le Baron, and Tommy Saleh’s fashion week staple “New York, New York” opened its doors for one night only at Nosh and Chow town house. Finishing things off was an intimate dinner hosted by Fashion Networks founder Christian Remröd for South African art dealer Paul McCabe, held at members’ club Nobile. True to their online credentials, Rumi Neely, Bryanboy’s Bryan Grey Yambao, and Chic Muse’s Denni Elias kept themselves busy Instagramming, while Jen Brill and Efva Attling giggled and made faces for the camera phones.
