Moda Operandi London Boutique Opening

If the guest list is anything to go by, Moda Operandi co-founder, Lauren Santo Domingo, hosted the party of London Fashion Week, Friday, with the likes of Camilla Al Fayed, Mario Testino, Charlotte Dellal, Daphne Guinness, Derek Blasberg, Poppy Delevingne, André Balazs, and Toni Garrn gathering at the Pompadour Ballroom at the Hotel Café Royal where a luxurious banquet dinner (decorated with flowers and hundreds of pillar candles) was set for 100 of fashion’s elite.

The soirée celebrated the opening of the Moda Operandi London boutique, which will serve as a private shopping space for clients and designers. Speaking to Style.com on the launch of the newly renovated historical space, Santo Domingo explained that our region played a big part in taking the decision to set up a second brick-and-motor (following New York,) “When we started Moda Operandi, we noticed that a lot of the transactions involving our Middle Eastern and Russian clients went through London.”

The boutique, designed by interior designer, Fran Hickman, will also carry fine jewelry and art pieces from Guy Bourdin, Vessel, and Line Vautrin.

Tomorrow, Moda Operandi will host an Emilia Wickstead trunk show, followed by Isa Arfen, Osman, and Delpozo trunk shows.
