Ahead of last night’s Golden Globes, all eyes were on the red carpet (by all means the main event) where stars arrived in elegant floor-sweeping gowns that sparkled and dripped with beautiful hand-stitched embellishments. Once inside, Brie Larson in a cut-out, embellished Calvin Klein column dress took home the top award, Best Actress for her role in Room, and Leonardo DiCaprio won Best Actor for his role in The Revenant. Meanwhile, Dior darling Jennifer Lawrence won Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for her role in Joy and Matt Damon took home the gong for his role in The Martian.
