Perhaps you are just becoming familiar with the name “Fatema Fardan” but the likes of Rachel Zoe, Mohammed Sultan Al Habtoor, Natalie Joos, Carole Radziwill, and even the young Lilla Crawford (the Into The Woods actress) are already on a first-name basis. The ambitious (to put it mildly) emerging designer just threw herself a Fall 2015 presentation (to showcase her second collection) smack in the middle of NYFW and called upon Julia Restoin Roitfeld to co-host and Leigh Lezark and The Misshapes to DJ. The Emirati—make that the first Emirati to host a presentation during NYFW—held her event at the Voce Di gallery in Soho.
